Free Getting Along & Keeping Cool: Aggression Control Program for Young People

Free Getting Along & Keeping Cool: Aggression Control Program for Young People“Getting Along & Keeping Cool” is a skills-based group program designed for aggression control, specifically targeting at-risk young people aged 13 to 25 who struggle to access mainstream mental health services. The program, based on Novaco’s cognitive-behavioural model, teaches participants to differentiate between anger and aggression, recognize triggers, manage physical tension, and respond to anger in prosocial ways. It combines psycho-education, self-monitoring, group discussions, handouts, videos, and role-plays, using a ‘pressure cooker’ model to help young people remember and apply the skills they learn.
